CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Governor Jim Justice on Friday along with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources announced the grand prize winner of a Twin Falls Resort State Park “Whitetail Frenzy” lottery deer hunt.
First announced in July by Governor Justice, the contest was reportedly on by John Tipton, who has secured a feature in an upcoming episode of West Virginia-based hunting show, “Whitetail Frenzy.”
“West Virginia is blessed with some of the most incredible hunting opportunities in the world, and I couldn’t be more excited for John as he embarks on this one-of-a-kind adventure with “Whitetail Frenzy” at Twin Falls Resort State Park,” said Governor Justice. “Our state’s nature beauty and wildlife make it a true hunter’s paradise, and I know this experience will be one that he remembers for a lifetime.”
As the winner of the lottery hunt, Tipton will embark upon the hunt itself, for which he will be provided lodging and food provided by Twin Falls Resort State Park as well as a grand-prize package including an Elite Bow of choice, a Fission E-Bike, a Scent Blocker Hunting Suit, a Killer Instinct Vital X Crossbow, a Spartan Go Live Cellular Trail Camera, a Scent Assassin scent elimination kit, Thorn Broadheads, Lethally Addicting Minerals, Lip Curl Scent Packs, and a Trophy Tree Stand.
“Thanks to our partners and the team at Twin Falls State Park, this hunt will offer hunters a chance to experience West Virginia’s great outdoors while enjoying one of our state’s finest hunting areas,” said Brett McMillion, Director for the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. “We wish everyone luck as they embark on this exciting outdoor adventure.”
