SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Alderson woman faces charges of child abuse and distribution of obscene matter to a minor.
According to Summers County Sheriff’s Department, on March 22, 2021, a Deputy was contacted by CPS, who reported child neglect on Jordan Cales. During the investigation, the CPS investigator had been advised of a cell phone containing pornographic images of Cales. Cales had given it to the victim, who was under 12-year-old.
During an interview with the victim, he stated that Cales was outside and had to urinate. Cales allegedly made the boy pee on a grave and then grabbed him by his privates and squeezed him. The victim also made comments about being hit in the head with a rock by Cales. The victim also claimed to be cussed and not given food and had to get it from his grandmother or father when he got home from work.
On April 19, 2021, the deputy made contact with the suspect. During the interview, the suspect acknowledges that there were pictures of her naked on the phone and she gave it to the underage victim. She denied sexual contact and didn’t remember hitting the victim with a rock.
Cales is charged with distribution and display to a minor of obscene matter and child abuse resulting in injury. Cales is being held in Southern Regional Jail on a 26,000 dollar bond.
