RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County woman was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill law enforcement officers and their family members while refusing to leave an apartment complex where she had previously been trespassed.
According to law enforcement, deputies responded to Crossroads Apartments in Bradley on May 26, 2026, to assist with a threats complaint involving Earon Lynette McConnell.
Authorities said McConnell had previously been trespassed from the property on March 29, 2026, and had been served with the trespass notice at that time. Despite the order, deputies found her on the property and allegedly refusing to leave.
While deputies attempted to explain that she was trespassing and needed to leave, McConnell allegedly threatened to kill one of the responding deputies. Another deputy reported that while attempting to speak with her, McConnell told him, “You’re going to die tonight.”
After being informed she was under arrest, McConnell allegedly refused to unlock her vehicle or exit. Deputies said she remained inside with the doors locked and windows up. After repeated commands to comply, officers warned that a window would be broken if she did not exit the vehicle.
When McConnell continued to refuse, deputies shattered a passenger-side window to gain access. As officers began unlocking the vehicle, McConnell complied and exited before being taken into custody.
While being transported to headquarters, deputies said McConnell continued making threats, including statements that she would kill the arresting deputy, his wife, children, and grandparents. She also allegedly claimed affiliation with the “Crips” gang during the incident.
Authorities said the threats were captured on the patrol vehicle’s in-car camera system.
McConnell was arrested and transported for processing.
The incident occurred in Bradley, Raleigh County.
