FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Princeton woman is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information about this incident.
At approximately 3:00 am this morning, April 2, 2024, deputies stopped traffic on US Rt 19 in Oak Hill after observing a vehicle swerving in the roadway. After stopping the vehicle, deputies noticed the passenger appeared to be beaten after speaking with the driver and the passenger, who stated that his injuries were inflicted by the driver, who used a screwdriver and other weapons to beat him. Deputies performed a search of the vehicle, where weapons consistent with the victim’s statement were found. The victim was transported to PMC for his injuries.
Norma I Taylor, 51, of Princeton, is charged with the felony offense of Malicious Wounding. She was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
