OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One Wyoming County woman has been arrested after a complaint of procuring electricity resulted in the discovery of illegal drug activity.
According to a press release, on Friday, May 26, 2023, Patrolman Reilley with the Oceana Police Department, was dispatched to Short’s Trailer Park in regards to a complaint of procuring electricity.
While on the scene, Reilley observed indications of illegal drug activity. After an on-scene investigation, Sharon ‘Sherry’ Workman, 52, of Oceana, was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Crystal Methamphetamine), a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
Workman was arraigned at Wyoming County Magistrate Court. Workman is being held at Southern Regional Jail with a $25,000 bond.
Troopers with the West Virginia State Police Jesse Detachment assisted in the investigation.
