Woman arrested after striking a neighbor in the head with a wooden board

MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County woman faces charges of malicious assault.

According to Montgomery Police, Nynita Carter maliciously struck her neighbor’s head and body with a wood board.  The victim suffered injuries and pain as a result of the assault.

The incident happened on 4th avenue in Montgomery.

Carter is charged with malicious assault and assault.  She is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
