CLAY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One woman has been arrested after striking a man in the face and stabbing him with a pair of scissors.
According to a criminal complaint, law enforcement responded to a domestic battery report at a residence on Leatherwood Road in Clay County around 8 p.m. Thursday.
The incident involved a male victim and defendant Natasha C. Holcomb, 51, of Bickmore, who both accused each other of physical violence.
The male victim told officers that during a verbal altercation, Holcomb struck him in the face and stabbed him with a pair of scissors.
He admitted to striking her in the face in self-defense.
Holcomb, however, claimed the male victim had choked and punched her, prompting her to hit him and throw scissors in self-defense.
Police arrested Holcomb and charged her with domestic battery. She is currently at Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.
