CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman has been arrested after throwing a phone at a car and punching a woman during an argument with her child’s father.
According to a criminal complaint, on Monday, June 10, 2024, police responded to a residence in Charleston as 37-year-old Alisha Roberts was in an argument with her child’s father when she threw a phone striking the car of the female victim.
The victim came outside her residence as she heard Roberts yelling. At this time, she did not realize her vehicle had been struck.
After the victim came outside, Roberts approached her in an “aggressive manner” and began yelling at her.
Roberts then began to physically fight the victim and struck her multiple times in the face with a closed fist.
The fight was broken up by a witness.
Roberts was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.
She is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.
