BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman faces charges after bringing illegal drugs into Southern Regional Jail.
According to State Police, Kimberly Waid of Marlinton was being processed as a fugitive, trespassing, and a capias charge from Pocahontas County.
Waid was asked if she had any drugs or weapons hidden on her, and she said no. The device showed irregularities in Waid’s private area during a body scan. Waid was then escorted to the bathroom, and a search was conducted. A bag containing methamphetamine was discovered in Waid’s vagina. Waid then said she had a methamphetamine addiction.
On top of the initial charges, she was also charged with bringing illegal drugs into Southern Regional Jail. She is being held in Southern Regional Jail.
