RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman chased a worker at a storage building with a hammer.
On September 4, 2024, the above-named defendant unlawfully entered the 4 Seasons Storage Building’s office located at 3319 Robert C. Byrd Dr. in Beckley, West Virginia. The complainant discovered the defendant inside when she arrived at work. The defendant told the complainant that she had entered through the rear door, which was found to be unsecured.
The defendant, wielding a hammer, then began to chase and threaten the complainant, putting her in immediate fear for her safety. The defendant left the business but was later located nearby at the entrance to Angel’s Rest on Ewart Ave., where she was taken into custody.
The defendant was found to be in possession of three sets of storage building keys as well as an Apple computer mouse that belonged to the business. The hammer she had been carrying was discovered in one of the buildings and was used as a scent article, with Cpl. Talley’s bloodhound making a positive identification back to the defendant.
The above events occurred in Raleigh County, West Virginia.
