RUPERT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman is facing charges after allegedly striking a woman in the face with a handgun five times after stealing her clothes.
On March 5, 2023, Rupert Police say a female victim claimed she entered a Monroe Street home and encountered the suspect, Shannon Bostic. The victim says that Bostic accused her of taking her clothes from her residence on Munday Lane in Rupert.
The victim denied taking her clothes, and then Bostic allegedly began hitting her in the face with a mint blue colored handgun. The victim says she was struck approximately five times in the face.
Bostic is charged with brandishing and battery. She is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 4,500 dollar bond.
