BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The No. 10 Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles delivered a statement win Friday night, defeating the No. 11 Oak Hill Red Devils 49–13 in front of their home crowd.
Woodrow Wilson’s offense came out firing, building an early lead and maintaining control throughout the game.
With the victory, Woodrow Wilson improves to 5–4 on the season and strengthens its position in the Class AAAA playoff picture heading into the final week of regular-season play.
The Flying Eagles will close out their schedule next Friday on the road against the George Washington Patriots.
Oak Hill, also 5–4, will look to rebound when it hosts the North Marion Huskies next Friday night.
