Multiple police vehicles and an ambulance were seen at the residence, where Hogan was reportedly taken away on a stretcher.
Hogan, born Terry Bollea, rose to global fame in the 1980s as the face of professional wrestling, headlining multiple WrestleManias and becoming a pop culture icon.
Known for his signature handlebar mustache, bandana, and powerful charisma, Hogan helped propel wrestling into the mainstream and inspired generations of fans and athletes alike.
In recent months, there had been growing concern over Hogan’s health.
TMZ previously reported rumors that he was on his “deathbed,” though his wife, Sky Hogan, denied those claims just weeks ago, stating that his heart was “strong” as he recovered from neck surgery performed in May.
Despite those reassurances, Hogan’s condition appears to have worsened, culminating in Thursday’s emergency and his untimely passing.
