CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia State Parks Foundation has been awarded $9,780 in technical assistance funding from Partner Community Capital’s West Virginia Recreational Economies Initiative. This funding will go toward web design, branding and marketing.
“Partner Community Capital is proud to support the West Virginia State Parks Foundation. Our state parks are not only essential to the health and well-being of West Virginians; they’re also powerful drivers of tourism and rural economic development. Supporting them aligns perfectly with PCAP’s mission to strengthen communities through sustainable, outdoor-based economies,” said Louis Argento, Business Services Coordinator for Partner Community Capital.
The foundation has awarded a contract for web design and marketing to Blackwell and Company out of Charleston. Blackwell’s company prides itself on providing affordable, creative solutions to help position, and grow business. Company Principal Steve Blackwell told us “Our people at Blackwell love the opportunities associated with the outdoor recreation industry and West Virginia State Parks. We are going to create a first-class product for the Foundation which will help them showcase the value and importance of our beautiful State Parks.”
“The Foundation is thrilled to be working with Partner Community Capital and Blackwell,” said Bradley Reed, Executive Director. “One of our immediate goals is to evolve our branding and marketing efforts. This funding is a huge step in that direction.”
