RENICK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the theft of a piece of construction equipment which occurred in Greenbrier County on Tuesday.
Assisting in the retrieval of information is the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, who on Thursday provided details regarding the theft which is said to have taken place at the Spring Creek Station area.
The missing equipment in question is a Cat brand Skid Steer featuring an 80-inch bucket attachment at the front. The theft itself is said to have occurred between 8:00am and 10:00am on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, along U.S. Route 219.
“If you have any information related to this theft, have been offered a great deal on a Skid Steer, or have seen a Skid Steer matching this description appear in an area recently and feel inclined to do so, please contact S/Tpr. J.C. Mann at the Lewisburg State Police Detachment at (304) 647-7600,” read a release from the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
The release also indicates that pertinent information is welcomed for submission via the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page. The missing Skid Steer can be seen in the included photo, which was released by the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department.
