CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine will cut the ribbon this week on its new statewide campus center located in Charleston.
The new space, according to an announcement from WVSOM, will serve as a center for learning, study, and socialization for WVSOM students on rotation in the South Central Region of the school’s statewide campus system, as well as a hub for WVSOM with regard to community health events in the Kanawha County area.
West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine President, James W. Nemitz, Ph.D., as well as Associate Dean for Predoctoral Clinical Education Art Rubin, D.O., will be in attendance to welcome guests and address those in attendance.
The ribbon cutting event is scheduled to take place at 11:30am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the center’s 3211 MacCorkle Ave. SE location in the Charleston area. Following the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine will host a community open house event.
