WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An 18-year-old man from Glen Fork is facing a domestic assault charge after a family dispute escalated into a violent outburst, authorities say.
According to a criminal complaint, deputies responded to a residence in Glen Fork on June 4 after receiving a 911 call from a concerned parent.
Upon arrival, law enforcement spoke with the complainant, who reported that her son, Ethan Ferrell, had become aggressive and began throwing items throughout the house.
Ferrell’s father told deputies the situation began during an argument about driving a vehicle. He said Ethan threatened to destroy the car before throwing various household objects.
Fearing for his safety, the father called 911, stating he believed his life was in immediate danger.
Deputies placed Ferrell under arrest for domestic assault and transported him to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department for processing.
He is currently at Southern Regional Jail on a $500 cash-only bond.
