BARBOUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 21-year-old has been arrested after drugs were discovered during a traffic stop.
According to the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, Deputy C. Mayle and his partner Creed made a traffic stop in Junior, WV on a gold Jeep for speeding.
Deputy Mayle obtained reasonable and articulate suspicion which led to a secondary investigation.
K9 Creed then conducted an open-air sniff around the vehicle. After an alert by Creed, a search was conducted of the vehicle.
The search yielded 3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 2 suspected Subutex pills.
Nathan Neyens, 21, of Philippi was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
