TRAP HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A self-service water tanker has been brought in to distribute to water at the Trap Hill Fire Department.
The supply has been made available in an effort to combat the ongoing outages affecting residents throughout the county as a result of multiple leaks and burst pipes.
West Virginia House Delegate for the 43rd District, Christopher Toney confirmed the availability of the resource at around mid-day Wednesday, indicating that arrangements had been made by Raleigh County Emergency Services and the Raleigh County Public Service District.
Raleigh County Emergency Services also confirmed the stationing of the “water buffalo” at the station, emphasizing that the water offered is non-potable and that all drinking water must be brought to a boil prior to consumption.
It has been indicated that those who elect to utilize the tanker supply must bring their own water containers, as containers will not be made available at the site itself.
Furthermore, those on-site must not block the fire department garage doors while conducting their business.
The Trap Hill Fire Department is located at 765 Bolt Rd, Fairdale WV.
