PRINCE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Surrounded by rocky mountain peaks sits the historic railroad and commerce town of Prince, West Virginia nestled along the New River on the borders of Fayette and Raleigh County.
Founded in 1870 by the Prince brother duo, the small town would soon become a hub for commerce and the C&O Railway.
At one time, the town had a population of 250. According to the U.S. Census, the population now sits below 20.
This underrated area within the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve is sure to please all those who visit for its picturesque scenes and history.
