HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities are currently seeking an individual wanted in connection to a stolen ambulance incident.
According to the Huntington Police Department, early on Monday, April 29, 2024, a male identified as Anthony Ray Bell – 37 years old – commandeered an unoccupied Cabell County EMS ambulance as responders were addressing a medical emergency.
Paramedics made their way to the 400 block of Washington Avenue at approximately 6:30am in response to an unspecified reported medical situation.
Bell is said to have simply entered the ambulance at the scene and drove away. The vehicle was located minutes later after crashed into a residence in the 600 block of Division Street West.
The residents of the impacted home were not injured as a result of the incident, according to reports.
Criminal complaints have been filed against Anthony Ray Bell, who is wanted for felony stolen auto as well multiple misdemeanor offenses.
