Following their investigation, deputies determined the situation was connected to an ongoing domestic dispute spanning several days.

Deputies arrested Caleb Morris of Gauley Bridge.
He was charged with felony strangulation, felony prohibited person in possession of a firearm, misdemeanor brandishing, misdemeanor domestic assault, misdemeanor domestic battery, two counts of violating a domestic violence protective order, misdemeanor interfering with a 911 call, and misdemeanor expired registration.
