BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In anticipation of increasingly low temperatures in the area, the Beckley Warming Center will be opening through the weekend.
United Way of Southern West Virginia announced on Saturday that the Beckley Warming Center will be opening at 8:00pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024, and will remain open until 7:00am.
The Beckley Warming Center is located at the Fellowship Hall/Lower Level of Beckley Community UMC, 217 S. Heber St.
Those needing a safe, warm place to shelter overnight are welcome to utilize the center. Â Cots and clean bedding will be provided along with a hot meal.
