(Salt Rock, WV) Bloomingdale Baptist (2-1) cruised past Elk Valley Christian (3-2) Tuesday night 76-45. Thanks to their swarming defense, the Bloom took an early lead and never looked back. They held the Eagles to a mere 4 points in the 1st quarter and led 37-14 at halftime.
It was a great team effort for the Bloom, with multiple players contributing on the scoreboard. Junior point guard Dorian Reese led the team with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Marc Brown (Jr., G) also racked up 19 points and dished out 9 assists. Sutton Roten (Sr., F) notched his 2nd double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Eagles were led predominately by Spencer Campbell with 19 points. Landon Smith and Corey Wilson also contributed 9 points each.
Bloomingdale will get a couple days off before traveling to Ohio to take on Belpre Christian Academy on Friday night at 7:30Â.
