Charleston – No. 2 Tug Valley rallied from a 24 percent shooting performance in the first half and five-point deficit to beat No. 7 Wahama 63-45 Wednesday night in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
With the win Tug will face No. 3 Tucker County on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
Tug’s defense led the way, holding Wahama to 29 percent shooting from the floor while forcing 17 turnovers.
Braydun Ferris led the charge for Tug with 22 points on 9 of 13 shooting while Parker Davis and Joey Gollihue scored 13 points each.
Josiah Lloyd led Wahama with 10 points in the loss.
