BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Beckley Concert Association welcomes members and the public to three special Valentine’s weekend performances at The Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre.
Al g & Friends is a high-energy, five-piece band from Charlotte, N.C., specializing in classic soul, R&B, Motown, beach music, and more. This party band’s members share more than 40 years of musical experience and have played in many states, for Carnival Cruises, and they have shared the stage with various renowned artists such as Chairmen of the Board, The Drifters, and The Temptations.
Shows at The Raleigh are scheduled for Friday, Feb 14, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Saturday, Feb 15, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and again on Saturday, Feb 15, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
“What a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s weekend,” said BCA President Allison Shriver. “We hope that the venue and multiple performances will encourage members and non-members alike to come out and enjoy a great show.”
All performances are at The Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre, 403 Neville St., Beckley. Seating is limited. Performances are $25 for any show and are available at beckleyconcerts.com and at the door as long as seats remain.
The Beckley Concert Association respectfully asks that concert-goers please reserve seats closest to the stage for audience members who may have difficulty climbing stairs.
Season memberships, including this performance plus two more, remain available at $50 for adults and $45 for seniors, available online and at the door. The season’s final two concerts, Natural Wonder: Stevie Wonder Tribute on March 14 and the Dimitri Nassar Quartet on April 18, both begin at 7:30 p.m., at the Woodrow Wilson High School Auditorium.
