BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS)– The City of Bluefield is reminding citizens about the right time to discharge fireworks.
The discharge of fireworks is allowed on July 4 from 9:00 am through 12:30 am on July 5. Any other time is deemed illegal.
“Independence Day is a time to celebrate our freedom, but we ask our citizens to please be considerate of your neighbors, especially veterans, who sacrificed so much for the freedom we celebrate this weekend,” stated the press release.
The press release also says that many veterans and pets might find noise from fireworks to be very stress-inducing.
“Enjoy the weekend, but be kind,” the released finished.
