MOUNDSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Delegate Charlie Reynolds (R-Marshall, 6) recently presented a grant for $3,000 to the Marshall County Soccer Club. According to Reynolds, the funds are earmarked for soccer field maintenance and upkeep.
Reynolds secured the funds through the Local Economic Development Assistance program, a community development project that is funded via appropriations made by the West Virginia Legislature and reserved to assist West Virginia communities with unique or specific needs.
“I’m proud to be able to help Marshall County Soccer ,” Reynolds said. “We all know how important youth sports are to the community, and I will always look for ways to secure the resources.”
Reynolds is a Moundsville native and serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Workforce Development and is additionally a member of the committees on Energy & Manufacturing, Finance, Health, Veterans Affairs, and Homeland Security.
