PAINT CREEK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One pup is in recovery after being struck by a vehicle in the Paint Creek area on Monday.
The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association has reached out Monday afternoon seeking the owner of the animal, who has incurred unfortunate injuries as a result of his experience, including a broken leg.
At this time, he is being cared for by the association’s medical team who are working to relieve the pain brought about by the incident.
“Sweet Trey was just brought in by a Good Samarian after being hit by a car,” read a statement from the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association. “He unfortunately suffered a severely broken leg. He is currently under the care of our medical team and has been started on pain management.”
The owner of the dog or anyone who may recognize him have been asked to contact the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association admissions team at (304) 342-1576 extension 118 or stop by the 1248 Greenbrier Street location in Charleston before 5:00pm close of business.
“Help us find this sweet boy’s family,” concludes the statement.
