POWELLTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – First responders were on the scene of an apparent bus crash in the Fayette County area on Tuesday morning.
According to the Armstrong Creek Fire Department, at 6:53 AM on Tuesday, a motor vehicle accident involving school bus was reported, initiating response from first responders.
Upon making their way to the scene, responders report having discovered no injuries or fatalities sustained as a result of the incident.
The school bus is said to have gone off the road, coming to a stop in a deep ditch.
Authorities have indicated that no students were present on the bus at the time of the accident, and that the driver of the bus was unharmed.
Wrecker services also responded to the scene, retrieving the bus from the aforementioned ditch.
