LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One person has been arrested following a fire at a West Virginia apartment complex.
According to the Logan Fire Department, on Monday, October 9, at approximately 11:28 AM the City of Logan Fire Dept. was dispatched to a structure fire with entrapment.
Upon the arrival of two engine companies and one squad company, units found heavy smoke conditions on the 2nd floor of an occupied apartment building.
All occupants were able to make it out and the fire was extinguished in the 1st apartment on the second floor.
The Logan Fire Marshal and Logan City Police responded and conducted an investigation and determined the fire was set intentionally.
Since then, the investigation has resulted in an arrest for arson. The name of the individual(s) arrested has not yet been released.
