Brian Kidd, 48, of Raleigh County, pleaded guilty to Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian, or Custodian in May of 2021 after the father of one of Kidd’s female players contacted police in July of 2019 alleging that Kidd had met with his daughter on multiple occasions.
Kidd admitted to knowing the girl was a minor.
According to Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Brian Parsons, who handled the case, on Wednesday, Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick sentenced Kidd to 10 to 20 years in prison.
