FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Four people are facing felony charges in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, just after midnight last night, a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a vehicle on US 19 near Lansing with two unrestrained young children. After a positive indication by a Fayetteville PD K-9 unit, a search of the car was conducted. Located in the vehicle were individually packaged units of a controlled substance and a firearm.
Melanie Leilich of Ansted is charged with Child Neglect, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics.
Rachel McCoy of Ansted is charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
Joshua Johnson of Ansted is charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
Nathan Grice of Indiana is charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. All four subjects will now await court proceedings.
