WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Though the fall season technically just got underway, some areas throughout the Mountain State have been advised to anticipate sub-freezing temperatures in the coming days.
Pocahontas County Emergency Management has released a freeze warning, stating that sub-freezing temperatures should be expected to occur in the Northwest and SoutheastPocahontas County and Southeast Randolph County regions.
These temperatures, expected to drop as low as 31 degrees, could create conditions which could pose a threat to crops, sensitive vegetation, and outdoor plumbing.
These conditions are anticipated to go into effect at 12:00am Monday morning and persist until 10:00am.
