BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Many gathered at the Friendship Hyundai dealership in Beckley Tuesday afternoon to cut the ribbon on the newest addition to the Friendship Family of Dealerships.
The Friendship Automotive Group, headquartered in Bristol, Tennessee, held both an Open House and Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the addition. During the Open House which was held from 11:30 AM- 2:00 PM, community members were able to engage with the team at Friendship Hyundai as well as explore the inventory of vehicles that Friendship has to offer.
Food and drinks were also available thanks to the Raleigh County Memorial Airport Restaurant.
The leaders of Friendship Automotive were joined by employees of the new Beckley location, city leaders, and members of the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce.
Beckley Mayor Rob Rappold says he is glad to welcome Friendship to the city. “On behalf of the city, it’s an honor to welcome Friendship Hyundai to Beckley,” Rappold said. “We’re proud to have [Friendship Hyundai] here.”
Mitch Walters, President of The Friendship Family of Dealerships, voiced his excitement for the new Beckley location. “You guys make us feel at home, Beckley reminds me of Bristol; great people, great climate, and nice mountains,” Walters said.
Friendship Hyundai of Beckley is open Monday-Friday 9 AM-7 PM, and open Saturdays from 9 AM-6 PM. The dealership is located at 3921 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801.
The addition of the Beckley Hyundai location brings the total Friendship Family of Dealerships to 18 locations, 16 franchises, in five separate states.
