FOSTER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman has been arrested in Boone County following an alleged domestic violence incident in which she struck her boyfriend with a frying pan, leaving him injured.
Authorities responded to a domestic violence complaint at approximately 12:31 a.m. at 3880 Rock Creek Road in Foster. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who was found with a laceration above his forehead and his face and head covered in blood.
According to the victim, the altercation occurred in the living room of the residence, where his girlfriend, Jamie Aleshire, allegedly hit him on the head with a frying pan during a physical dispute. The victim and Aleshire, who are in a relationship and live together, had been involved in an argument before the situation escalated.
Aleshire was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence for unlawfully making physical contact with the victim with the intent to cause bodily harm or injury.
She is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a $200 cash-only bond.
