Girls Basketball Roundup: Oak Hill hammers Mount View in season opener

Welch – Oak Hill outscored Mount View 30-6 in the opening quarter and cruised past the Golden Knights 95-17.

Three Red Devils scored in double figures led by Jada Wilburn with 18 points. Addy Isaacs added 15 and Taysia Gray had 13 points. Kerrisyn Feazell added nine points, while Ali Williams and Natalie Craddock had eight points each. Kasey Compton scored seven.

Ashanti Bonds led Mount View with 11 points and Lakey Martin scored five.

Oak Hill (1-0) hosts Hurricane Tuesday. Mount View (0-1) travels to Man Friday night.
