Glenna Mae Lucas Linkenhoker, 91 of Princeton died Friday, August 25, 2023, at Princeton Health Care Center.
Born October 11, 1931, in St. Albans, WV she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. Lucas and Daisy Stone Steele.
Glenna was a graduate of Princeton High School and attended West Virginia University for one year. She had been a resident of Princeton since 1972 moving here from Phoenix, AZ. Glenna worked with her husband “Bud” and son “Mark” at Bud’s Texaco, Link’s Texaco, and Link’s Service Center. Glenna was a homemaker, excellent cook, and enjoyed serving meals to family and friends. She was a pianist and taught numerous children to play the piano.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. “Bud” Linkenhoker; and one sister, Lois Keesling.
Survivors include one son, Mark Linkenhoker of Princeton; one daughter, Cheryl Linkenhoker Bender and husband Dan of Aledo, TX; one grandson, Jason Bender of Dallas, TX; and favorite niece, Vicki Bishop of Limestone, TN.
In keeping with Glenna’s wishes her body has been cremated and there will be no services. Memorial contributions to honor Glenna may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
