GLENVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Glenville State University kicked off its 2023 New Pioneer Welcome week on Monday as new and returning students made their way to campus in anticipation of the upcoming fall semester.
Student check-in began at 8:00am on Monday, and the entire day has been made available to accommodate move-ins for students. The day will also feature a Pioneer Picnic and Welcome Rally, both of which are open to both students and staff, along with a Welcome Dinner and s’mores later in the evening.
“New Pioneer Orientation is designed to help new students create meaningful connections, become familiar with GSU policies and procedures, connect with various offices and their caring, dedicated staff, and learn about all the services GSU provides,” said Glenville State University.
Activities implemented to facilitate the welcoming and orientation of GSU students are set to continue throughout the week, and will include various presentations, dinners, and entertainment events among other things.
