He has been formally charged with possession of child pornography.
Sergeant D. Vaught of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigator on the case.
Sipos’ bond has been set at $75,000.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing, and additional details may be released as legal proceedings move forward.
Sheriff Bart Baker urged parents to stay vigilant about their children’s online activity. “Predators use the internet and social media platforms to gain access to children,” Baker said.
“Our children are our most precious resource and must be protected. If you target our children, we will target you!”
The sheriff’s office emphasized its commitment to identifying and prosecuting those who harm or exploit children.
