CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – American rock band, Hawthorne Heights has announced the return of its “Is For Lovers” festival tour, which will make its way to multiple cities across the country, including Charleston, West Virginia.
The band, which first attained mainstream success in the early 2000s with their own distinct brand of emo, alternative, and post-punk stylings, announced on Wednesday, the first wave shows for the festival. The first six shows of the series will see the group taking the stage in various states across the country including Illinois, California, Nevada, Iowa, and of course, Ohio.
The group’s Mountain State stop will see them performing at Charleston’s GoMart Ballpark.
Early-bird ticket sales go on sale at noon on Wednesday, and additional information on tickets and shows can be found at the festival website. Additional dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Hawthorne Heights broke into the mainstream with their debut studio album, 2004’s The Silence in Black and White, propelled by the success of the record’s first single, “Ohio is for Lovers,” the music video for which received extensive airplay on MTV and VH1, and serves as the namesake of the upcoming “Is For Lovers” festival tour.
