- What: Winds –Strong to potentially damaging winds area-wide Friday through Saturday. Some power outages and tree damage are likely. Rain will accompany the winds, but flooding issues are not anticipated at this time.
Snow – Light mountain snow possible Saturday into Sunday; no significant impacts expected. More snow chances again next week, especially Monday into Tuesday.
Extreme Cold – Much colder for the middle part of next week, with potentially hazardous wind chills on at least one morning. - When: Winds –Strong winds develop Friday morning, strongest in the mountains Friday afternoon and evening, then persisting through Saturday with at least occasional strong gusts.
          Snow – First round Saturday into Sunday. Second round Monday into Tuesday. Intermittent light snow showers are possible at other times.
          Extreme Cold – Much colder next week, with the worst likely Tuesday and Wednesday.

Expected Conditions and Impacts
Friday through Sunday:
- Scattered power outages will be possible again with this wind event, potentially on par with this most recent event earlier this week.
- No major impacts expected from the weekend snow, which looks to be light and confined to the mountains.
Monday through Wednesday
- Sharply colder weather expected behind a cold front that crosses the area on Monday. Hazardous wind chills possible area-wide, most likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
- Widespread snow is possible Monday into Tuesday, but too early to have much clarity on snow totals or expected placement of heaviest amounts.
