WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities have issued a High Wind Watch alert on Sunday for various regions throughout the Mountain State.
The National Weather Service has indicated that potentially damaging winds can be expected between late Monday night through Tuesday evening.
The alert has been issued for multiple areas including portions of the northeast, northern, southeast, and southern regions of the state.
Potential impacts of anticipated winds reportedly could include power outages, fallen trees and power lines, and difficulty traveling.
Residents are encouraged to secure loose objects, as winds are expected to reach 30mph to 40 mph.
