NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An in-home nurse for Central Aging Solutions is facing charges after stealing from a man she was caring for.
According to Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department, between October 12, 2021, and December 12, 2022, Megan Felicia Kolker was an in-home nurse employed by Central Aging Solutions. The patient Kolker was caring for surfers from dementia.
Deputies say Kolker stole money from the victim’s bank account, paid her bills, bought herself clothes, and paid for her streaming services. Â Kolker allegedly stole 2,000 dollars in cash from the victim’s safe.
The total amount Kolker stole from the victim was around 30,000 dollars.
Kolker is charged with financial exploitation of an elderly person, grand larceny, and fraudulent schemes. She is in Central Regional Jail under a 30,000 dollar bond.
