ALABAMA (LOOTPRESS) – Alabama authorities have arrested a man accused of threatening to blow up an Ulta Beauty store in Opelika.
The suspect, Timothy Vincent Lincoln, 42, of Buras, Louisiana, was charged with making a first-degree terrorist threat. According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Lee County District Court, Lincoln was outside the Ulta Beauty store on Enterprise Drive in the Tiger Town shopping complex around 10 a.m. on Saturday when an employee overheard him allegedly say, “I’m going to blow this place up.”
The employee quickly informed her co-workers, prompting them to evacuate the store. Authorities from the Opelika Police Department responded to the scene but found no explosives, and the store resumed normal operations shortly afterward.
In a strange twist, Lincoln’s mug shot shows his face covered in red and blue markings, including bright blue over his beard and nose, with red lines across much of his face. Police did not provide details on how he obtained the items to draw on himself or his intentions behind the act.
Lincoln is currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison. Ulta Beauty has banned him from their store, and no lawyer has been listed for him at this time.
