BUCKHANNON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two individuals have been charged in relation to a Tuesday traffic stop which resulted in a DIU arrest.
According to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white cargo van in the area of Clarksburg Road.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Mustafa Albisheh, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and, along with a passenger inside the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, was charges with selling cannabis products without a permit.
A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of six one-pound vacuum sealed bags of suspected THC products, a violation of state law.
Approximately $6,000 in cash was also located inside the vehicle, and the investigation is said to be ongoing.
