RANDOLPH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A juvenile was taken into custody following a chaotic incident at the Burgess Mobile Home Park on Feb. 12, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities responded to a report of a naked woman screaming and fighting with others at the mobile home park.
As deputies were en route, additional 911 calls indicated that the woman had forced her way into a residence where a small child was present.
The homeowner and others managed to remove the woman, who then began running around the trailer park.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the woman was allegedly under the influence of acid. They found her in a bathroom and attempted to detain her, but she became combative.
During the struggle, a deputy sustained minor facial injuries before officers were able to subdue and handcuff the suspect.
The suspect was identified as a juvenile.
Witnesses at the scene reported various injuries from the altercation, and the homeowner stated that the suspect had damaged a table, with estimated losses of $100.
The juvenile also reportedly refused to leave the property when ordered. Multiple bystanders recorded videos of the incident, which were later turned over to law enforcement.
Due to her incoherent state, the juvenile was transported to Davis Medical Center for treatment. She was later released to her parents.
At least one other person sought medical attention for possible blood exposure from injuries sustained during the struggle.
The juvenile is facing multiple charges, including four counts of battery on a police officer, two counts of destruction of property, and trespassing.
A juvenile petition has been filed through the prosecuting attorney’s office.
