MARION COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A lane closure is set for I-79 this Friday.
According to the West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT), there will be a lane closure on Interstate 79 northbound, at mile marker 135 (Millersville/Pleasant Valley), fromĀ 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024.
The purpose of the closure is for crews to make repairs, right after the Millersville Bridge in Marion County.
Motorists are told to expect major delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
