LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One home in Lincoln County was completely destroyed in a fire over the holiday weekend.
According to the West Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department, at approximately 5:42 PM Saturday evening crews were dispatched to a structure fire on 2 Mile Road.
Upon arrival, the structure was fully involved. Fire units from West Hamlin VFD, Guyan River VFD, and Hamlin VFD established a defensive attack to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported by the West Hamlin VFD.
The home was deemed a total loss due to the fire damage sustained. The West Hamlin VFD extended their thanks to the Guyan River VFD, Hamlin VFD, and Lincoln County EMS members for their hard work and assistance on the structure fire.
