ELKINS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after stealing a can of beer from Sheetz.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, Robert Roy was arrested for petit larceny following a theft incident at the Sheetz located off Beverly Pike in Randolph County.
The Randolph County 911 Center received a report on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, about a past occurred theft at the store.
Upon investigation, it was found that on June 23, 2024, Roy was observed by store employees taking a 24 oz. Coors Light beer valued at $2.59 and leaving without paying.
Photographs and a voided receipt of the stolen item were obtained by law enforcement.
Following the investigation, a criminal complaint was filed against Roy, leading to the issuance of a warrant by the Randolph County Magistrate.
Roy was subsequently arrested on June 30, 2024, in connection with the theft.
